Heidi
Lance
Heidi's
background includes a degree in Health and Human Services. She spent
three years at HEALTHSOUTH as a therapist conducting cognitive retraining
for the brain injured as well as low cognitive stroke patients.
Following this career she spent one year working as an instructional
aide in a Pre-K classroom This experience peaked her interest in
education and led her to the Neighborhood Charter School. Heidi
has worked in Kindergarten for the past two years. In addition to
her responsibilites in Kindergarten, she also created and coordinated
NCS' After School program. Currently she plans to pursue her Master's
Degree in education from Georgia State University.
She lives in Grant Park with her husband, Tom, and their two newest
residents, Claire, their new baby, and Indie, their new puppy.

Molly
Maland
Molly
was born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts. She has worked in
three schools, three group homes, her college, and an artistís
craft guild. She received her B.A. in a combination of Sociology
and Anthropology from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North
Carolina.
Molly worked in a small, dropout prevention high school in Massachusetts
as an AmeriCorps member. Then, she was an Instructional Aide for
the K-5 Special Education program in an elementary school in Asheville.
Last year she substitute taught at The Friends School of Atlanta,
mainly as a long term co-teacher for the four and five year olds.
She loves animals (especially her dog Pierre), a wide range of music,
and has a passion for art. Photography, drawing, and bookmaking
are her favorites. She also enjoys the outdoors and has traveled
to Yosemite National Park and Costa Rica where she volunteered in
forest/rainforest restoration projects. She is thrilled to be a
part of NCS!
