Peter Ernst

Peter grew up in northern New Hampshire. After graduating from Plymouth State College with a BA in English, he moved to Alaska where for 6 years he sculpted in fossilized walrus and mammoth tusk. Peter continued his fine art career in a move to London where in leaner times he also worked as a freelance model maker and sculptor in the toy industry.

A 5 year resident of Atlanta, Peter recently completed a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education at Mercer University. He lives in Little Five Points where he enjoys cycling, gardening, and sitting on his front porch.

Kole Camp

Kole Camp is originally from Yorktown Heights, New York but has been an Atlanta resident for 16 years. She taught pre-K for 13 years and has been teaching Kindergarten at NCS since 2004. She's currently in school to obtain her degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on English. Kole enjoys reading (mostly autobiographies of strong and inspirational women). Accordingly, she is collaborating with another author on a novel and indulges in writing poetry and song lyrics. Kole loves to sing and complemented her passion by attending a School of the arts high school where she was a member of the choir.  She has also been the lead singer of an R&B band as well as a member of a women's vocal group.  

 Kole's love for children and animals drives her support in the fight against child and animal abuse.   She has volunteered at the Atlanta Juvenile Detention Center to assist in providing structure and guidance for drug and alcohol addicted teenagers and was afforded the role of motivational speaker for many group sessions.   Kole says she loves working at NCS and, although releasing her students into their 1st grade journey is an emotional challenge, she still looks forward to every New Year.
