NCS Student Registration 2010-2011
Please choose one of the below dates to visit.  Attendance at one information session is a registration requirement.  We look forward to meeting you!

  • Saturday, February 6, 2010. 9:00 am to 10:00 am
  • Thursday, February 11, 2010. 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Saturday, March 13, 2010. 9:00 am to 10:00 am
  • Saturday, April 24, 2010. 9:00 am to 10:00 am

In House / Sibling Registration

Phase I Registration
Open to families from the neighborhoods
of Grant Park and Ormewood / North Ormewood Park (download a Map of Phase I registration area - PDF)

Phase II Registration
Open to families from the City of Atlanta Planning Unit-W.

Phase III Registration

Open to families from all of the city of Atlanta that are zoned to attend an Atlanta Public School.

In House / Sibling Registration - January 25, 2010 - February 12, 2010.
Phase I Registration - February 1, 2010 - February 12, 2010.
A lottery (if needed) for families who registered during Phase I will be held on February 18th, 2010 at 6:30 pm in Rosswurm Hall.


Parents are invited to attend, but attendance is not required.  Families will be notified of lottery results.  Parents may also contact the school.

Phase II Registration - March 1, 2010 - March 12, 2010.
A lottery (if needed) for families who registered during Phase II will be held on March 18th, 2010 at 6:30 pm in Rosswurm Hall.


Parents are invited to attend, but attendance is not required.  Families will be notified of lottery results.  Parents may also contact the school.

Phase III Registration - April 12, 20101 - April 23, 2010.
A lottery (if needed) for families who registered during Phase III will be held on April 29th, 2010 at 6:30 pm in Rosswurm Hall.


Parents are invited to attend, but attendance is not required.  Families will be notified of lottery results.  Parents may also contact the school.

Neighborhood Charter School is a K-5 public elementary school serving approximately 360 students.  There is no tuition and no entrance criteria other than residence within the NCS attendance zone.  For additional questions, please contact Kelly Dennis, Executive Assistant, at 404-624-6226.

Please note that failure to attend an information session will result in withdrawal of your registration packet.

Upon closing of each Registration Phase period, if the number of qualified applications exceeds the projected number of available seats for any or all grade levels, a random selection (Lottery), open to the public, will be conducted at the Neighborhood Charter School.  To read more read about the lottery proceedure click here.
