B.B.A., Real Estate. University of Georgia(1990). M.Ed., Health and Physical Education. University of Georgia(1994). A native Georgian and a Grant Park resident, Randy has taught elementary school physical education in the public school system for 8 years and coached ages 4 to 80 years old. Graduate level work prepared him to teach the whole child and implement a cross-curricular approach to health and physical education. He believes that children should enjoy a safe, engaging learning environment and appreciate movement and activity within their individual level of performance. Randy was selected school and district teacher of the year in 1999 and was nominated for the state of Georgia Teacher of the Year. He was also selected 1998 Morgan County Volunteer of the Year for his community involvement in youth sports and cultural arts programs. Randy enjoys running, tennis, performance and visual arts events, reading and taking his dog, Callie, to Grant Park to run with the squirrels.
