Welcome!!! Bienvenidos a la clase de Espa–ol de la Se–ora Sviezzi!!!!
Familias
of NCS,
Bienvenidos! Welcome to the K-5 Spanish web page. My name
is Patricia Sviezzi, but your children call me Se–ora Sviezzi. I am a native of
Argentina. I have been a Spanish teacher for 6 years at NCS.
I truly
believe that each and every student has the capability to learn a World
Language. Once the desire and the effort are present, the sky's the
limit!!
In this
web page you will find resources for work with your child at home. I hope you
enjoy and have fun!
Mission For The Classes![]()
It is my
desire that students have fun while learning Spanish and complete the class
with a useful knowledge of the Spanish language and its culture.
"Knowing
how, when and why to say what to whom"
All
the linguistic and social knowledge required for effective human-to-human
interaction is encompassed in those ten words. So, while grammar and
vocabulary are essential tools for communication, it is the ability to
communicate with users of other languages that is the ultimate goal of today's
second language instruction.
